Tuwang tuwa talaga ako..every time na nakakabuo ako ng isang kanta na about kay God…daig pa nito ung mga kantang inaaral ko dati..na para lang naman yun sa sarili ko..para sumaya AKO.. at iyabang na alam kong tugtugin yan…yes!alam ko nang tugtugin yung kantang yun..!!tapos kapag nagsawa at nawala na sa uso yung kanta..ano na??wala..nga nga..tapos aral ulit ng bagong kanta…. im such a fool those days!!! :/ good thing is! DATI yun hindi na ngayon…. J masarap sa pakiramdam na kumakanta habang tinutugtog ang gitara na alam mong kahit fail ang boses mo (pasensya na Po medyo masakit sa tenga..) eh..may isang taong nakikinig sayo at nakangiti… na habang nagstrum ka ng gitara may isang proud sayo at nagmamasid (kabado po ako alam ko po kc nakikinig Ka…minsan nagkakamali…sorry Po…) iba ka po talaga God… kc halos po lahat ng chords ng Christian songs..basic at halos pare-parehas lang po ang chords..madali tugtugin…hindi komplikado at masarap kantahin at hindi nakakasawa….natatawa po tuloy ako sa sarili ko kasi dati po…halos mamaga yung mga daliri ko, mangawit ang kamay at bisig ko, at halos maubos ang isang buong araw ko sa pag-aaral ng isang kanta/pyesa…eh sa simpleng mga chords na D, G, A, C, Em, Am madami-dami na din pong matutugtog…bonus pa na para Sayo at patungkol Sayo ang mga kantang toh! Salamat po Father God sa pagpapahiram po sakin ng kakayahang tumugtog ng gitara… J Salamat po sa pagsama sa akin at makipagjam sakin….next time po ulit…same place (sa puso ko po)…same time (sa oras na gusto Mo po)…same chords (D, G, A, C, Em, Am..+++)…same lyrics (from the Bible)…See yah Father God! Let’s Rock and Roll! \m/ ;)

OK Lang Maging Single sa Valentines

Beautiful arrangement, Yeng’s musicality stands out.
It’s a SOLD-OUT concert, congratulations Yeng! The Rockoustic Princess provides a successful Valentine musical presentation dedicated for singles instead of the usual date night show for couples, she conceptualize the show, decided which songs to perform and chose the musicians she wanted to play with.
With special guests Jovit Baldivino and Paolo Valenciano. She performed a powerful duet with Jovit entitled Too Much Love Will Kill You. Yeng’s kilig moment with Paolo Valenciano were memorable, first time to see Yeng blushing with her simple infatuation. They have a good chemistry onstage as they performed Afterimage’s Tag-ulan and Rey Valera’s Kamusta Ka.
APO’s Mahirap Magmahal ng Syota ng Iba, Hotdog’s Perslab, Bituin Escalante’s Kung Ako Na Lang Sana, Rachel Alejandro’s Mr. Kupido, Eraserhead’s ‘Wag Kang Matakot & With A Smile, Rivermaya’s Umaaraw, Umuulan & 214 are some of the OPM hits she performed. And we’re lucky (makin’ me crazy) to watch her version of Adele’s Someone Like You live.
Best of all, we’re proud to witness Yeng’s solid supporters again, they prayed for the success of the concert and of course of Yeng’s success too, dressed in pink shirts with the catchy “OK Lang Maging Single sa Valentines” design, screamed their hearts out and cheered for Yeng all throughout the concert. They’re amazing! Keep it up guys! ;)
